Foxy Thinking

Foxy Thinking is a free on-line brain trainer.  It’s simple enough to use and if you register you can keep track of progress.  I tried it for a little while and it is smarter than me, for whatever that’s worth

Posit Science

My first introduction to Posit Science was an introduction to the idea of brain plasticity and brain fitness in the book by Norman Doidge,  The Brain That Changes Itself: Stories of Personal Triumph from the Frontiers of Brain Science (James H. Silberman Books)

If you have a specific type of brain fitness issue, such as memory loss, working or fluid memory, or you just don’t feel as sharp as you once did, Dr. Michael Merzenich at Posit Sceince may have a solution for you.

One review says, Posit Science is the leading provider of clinically validated brain training exercises. The company works with more than 50 scientists from prestigious universities to design and test its computer-based programs.

Posit science may be the largest and has a solid reputation.  I cannot speak from experience on this one as I have not tried it.  for more information or to try it for yourself, click below –

My Brain Trainer

It is the conclusion of this pilot study that in this population, the MyBrainTrainer.com exercises increased IQ, reduced anxiety, and improved cognitive efficiency and speed, as measured by the specific testing instruments employed. Whether these improvements will be sustained once training has ceased, and whether such improvements transfer to real-world everyday function are questions that may be addressed in future studies. — Month-long study using MyBrainTrainer Exercises by the Delos Institue

My Brain Trainer is recommended by Slate.com.  Click below for more information -

As I learn of more products I will list them on this page.  If you have feedback on any of them, please leave a comment.  I will post it here with or without your information.
