I didn’t get my Monday Thesis post out last week. I must have been asleep.
I found a couple extremely useful this past week, one I’ve used, the other I will soon.
First, Kristarella has posted a tutorial about this before, but things have changed since Thesis 1.7 showed up on the scene.
Kristarella.Com Full-Width Framework Tutorial
With many monitors now being wide-screen, I think the full-width looks more user-friendly and eye-friendly. I am no designer, but as you can see, This Old Brain. Net is now full-width.
four o’clock project offers encouragement telling us not to be intimidated by the learning curve in using this incredible theme. When you look at it, you may see me on the part of the graph that goes straight up. But I think I am beginning to get it.
Finally, WP Bandit published part one of the Thesis Treasure Guide, a tutorial that looks like it really does start from step one. It’s helpful and clear, and I will be delving into it. I’ll get back to you on this.
Hope this is helpful.
If you are ready to get started with Thesis, don’t forget to grab it here.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for the mention! Part 2 of the tutorial is done and will go live tomorrow. We really are taking it from beginning to end to help out the non-technical users of Thesis.
Will take a look at the new one as soon as i have some time. mike
Thanks for the shoutout Mike! I promise to add more tutorials this week that allow new Thesis users to sleep better at night.
I’ll watch for ‘em. I keep working on this old brain, but sometimes THIS old brain doesn’t quite get it.
