Write it Down, Damn It!
I had to share this post from Stepcase Lifehack. Proabably the worst thing that can happen in my thinking life (unless, of course, my brain goes kerplooey) is to be caught somewhere, anywhere without writing utensils.
This comesu under knowing myself. If I have an idea, i can do every trick in the book — say it ten times, try to tie it to a picture in my head — all those things that people do to try to force themselves to remember an idea. If I don’t write it down, it is completely gone. Poof, into the air. And the weird thing is, these things rarely come back. Then again, if they do, they are completely new, because I forget the original.
I’m like Guy Pearce in Memento, except I don’t have the tattoos.
