Headline: Dogma Kills Karma In Brutal Assault
Rule Four
“Rules are but dogma with different fleas.
Dogma sires religion. In different degrees.
Religion is to have someone else think;
With your best interests at heart – wink, wink, wink. “
Corny, but best I know how to do.
I decided long ago to remain religiously irreligious. Reading a book by Gerry Spence, I cam across the idea and have stuck to it since. Gerry Spence, Trial Lawyer, Philosopher, All Around Cool Guy
What’s different about this? If I am against rules how can I follow this one?
As I said in part one, rules have their place. Here’s how I see it as different. It’s my rule. I am aware of it. I can change my mind if I so choose. And it follows this concept – “to thine own self be true.”
Any fool can make a rule, and any fool will mind it. Thoreau
